How this works
- It measures your photo first — the histogram, the colour cast, how much is crushed to black or blown to white, how much noise there is and how crisp the edges are. The starting settings come from those readings, not from a preset everything gets.
- Nothing is uploaded — the whole thing runs in your browser, including the full-resolution version you download. Your photo never leaves the device.
- It can’t invent detail — a badly out-of-focus or heavily compressed photo has lost information, and no amount of sharpening brings it back. This fixes exposure, colour and contrast, which is what most photos actually need.
Most photos that look wrong are not badly taken — they are badly exposed, slightly colour-cast, or flat because the camera protected the highlights. All three are fixable arithmetic, which is why this runs in your browser in about a second and costs nothing.
The word "auto" is doing real work here. Your photo is measured first: where the histogram actually starts and stops, what colour the light was, how much is crushed to black or blown to white, how much sensor noise is in the flat areas, and how crisp the edges are. The starting settings come from those readings. A photo that is already well exposed gets left alone.

Frequently asked questions
Is this AI?
No, and that is deliberate. This is ordinary image processing — auto-levels, white balance, a shadow lift, local contrast and a sharpen that skips flat areas. It needs no model, so nothing is uploaded and there is no queue, no credit and no watermark.
Can it fix a blurry photo?
No. Sharpening increases the contrast at edges that are already there; it cannot recover detail the lens or the shake never recorded. If a photo is genuinely out of focus, nothing online will fix it, whatever it claims.
Why did it barely change my photo?
Because it measured it and found little to fix. That is the correct answer for a photo that is already well exposed and neutral — a tool that always applies the same contrast boost is a filter, not an enhancement.
Does it keep the full resolution?
Yes. The preview is scaled down so the sliders stay responsive, but the download is rendered from your original at its own size, with the same settings.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, including the full-size version you download.
