Frequently asked questions
Are bookmarks and the table of contents kept?
Yes. Each file’s bookmarks are carried over and point at the right pages in the merged document.
Do fillable form fields still work?
Yes. Fields are carried across and registered in the new document. If two files have a field with the same name, the second one is renamed so they don’t mirror each other.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not while they’re encrypted. Open them with the password in your PDF reader and save an unprotected copy first.
Is there a limit on the number of files?
No fixed limit. Very large merges are bounded by your device’s memory, since everything is done locally.
