Frequently asked questions
Will resizing reduce image quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp: we use high-quality resampling. Making it bigger can’t invent detail, so large enlargements will look softer.
What’s the difference between Crop, Fit and Stretch?
They matter when the new size has a different shape. “Crop to fill” trims the edges so the image covers the whole area, “Fit” keeps the entire image and adds bars, and “Stretch” distorts it to match exactly.
How do I keep the proportions?
Enter only the width or only the height and leave the other field empty: it is calculated automatically.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens inside your browser, on your own device. Your images are never sent to us or anyone else, which is also why it’s so fast.
Is it really free? Any limits or watermark?
