Will I lose quality?
JPG and WebP are saved at 92% quality by default, which looks identical to the original for almost every photo. PNG is lossless. You can change the quality in the settings.

Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens inside your browser, on your own device. Your images are never sent to us or anyone else, which is also why it’s so fast.
