Frequently asked questions
Will this QR code expire?
No. It’s a static code: the link is encoded in the image itself and doesn’t depend on any server, including ours.
Can I change the link after printing?
No — that’s the trade-off of static codes. If you need to change the destination later, point the code at a page you control and change that page.
What does error correction do?
It lets the code survive damage or a logo placed on top. Higher levels make the pattern denser; Medium suits most uses, Max is for codes printed where they’ll get scuffed.
PNG or SVG for printing?
SVG: it’s vector, so it stays razor-sharp on a poster. Use PNG at 1000 px or more if your print tool doesn’t accept SVG.
