Frequently asked questions
How do I get the cleanest result?
Paint tightly around just the object, not a big loose area around it: a precise mask gives the AI a clearer job and a more convincing fill. It also works best on small to medium objects (a sticker, a sign, a passer-by, a timestamp) rather than something that fills most of the photo.
Why does this take a few seconds?
The AI model runs on our server rather than in your browser, so there’s an upload and a short wait for the result — usually just a few seconds, regardless of your photo’s size.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
Yes: it’s one of three tools here that need a server. Your photo is sent over HTTPS, processed in memory and never written to disk or seen by anyone. It’s discarded the moment your result is ready.
Is it really free? Any limits or watermark?
Yes, completely free, no watermark and no account. There’s a fair-use hourly limit per person, purely so one heavy user can’t make it slow for everyone else.
