Why is my PDF bigger than with JPG images?
Lossless PNG data is larger than JPG. For photos saved as PNG, converting them to JPG first gives a much smaller PDF.
What happens to transparency?

Which page size fits screenshots best?
“Same as image” avoids white borders around wide screenshots; A4 is better if it will be printed.
