An SVG has no resolution of its own — it’s a drawing, not a grid of pixels. So converting one isn’t really conversion: it’s deciding how big the picture should be and rendering it at that size.

That’s what this does. Ask for 2048 pixels wide and you get a genuinely sharp 2048-pixel image, not a small one blown up. Height follows the drawing’s proportions.

Transparency is kept by default, which is what you want for logos going onto a coloured background. Pick a flat colour instead if the file has to be a JPG.

Frequently asked questions

What size should I export?

Match where it will be used, then double it for high-density screens: a 400-pixel logo slot is best served by an 800-pixel PNG. For print, aim for the print size in inches × 300.

My SVG comes out blank or wrong.

SVGs that reference external images, fonts or scripts won’t render the same way. Converting text to paths in your editor before exporting fixes most cases.

Can it convert PNG back to SVG?

No, and be sceptical of tools that claim to: tracing a photo produces a huge file that only approximates the original. Vectorising is a design job, not a conversion.

Is the file uploaded?
