Crop an Image into a Circle
Make a round photo with a transparent background (PNG).
A circle crop gives you a round image with transparent corners, so it sits cleanly on any background: a slide, a website, an email signature, a team page.
Place the circle over the face or logo and download a PNG. The area outside the circle is fully transparent, not white.
For email signatures, keep it small (around 100–200 pixels): some mail apps display images at their full size.

Frequently asked questions
Why are the corners white in my app?
The app you’re viewing it in may be showing transparency as white. The PNG itself has transparent corners — placed on a coloured background, you’ll see it.
Can I save the circle as JPG?
JPG has no transparency, so the corners would have to be filled with a colour. Keep PNG or WebP for a true circle.
Do social networks need a round crop?
No, they apply the circle themselves to a square upload. This is for places that show your image as-is.
